The parish church of Our Lady of Romeral, in Hontecillas (the Manchuela Conquense, Cuenca), is a Romanesque-style church dedicated to its patroness, the Virgin of Romeral. As early as the 19th century, Pascual Madoz's Dictionary described it as a parish served by a first-rank priest and a sacristan. The village's big day is 15 August, when a procession is held in honour of the Virgin of Romeral, and the church preserves a painting of the Virgin.
