Church of San Juan Evangelista de Casasimarro Monument · Casasimarro, La Manchuela Conquense, Cuenca The church of San Juan Evangelista in Casasimarro (Cuenca), a 16th-century three-nave parish church that presides over the town's old quarter, was substantially renovated in the mid-20th century. It preserves frescoes which, although unsigned, are attributed to the painter Felipe Navarro because of their stylistic similarity to documented works of his in Garaballa (1727) and Utiel (1728), placing these paintings in the first decades of the 18th century.
