Church of la Asunción de Leganiel Monument · Leganiel, La Alcarria Conquense, Cuenca Image of Leganiel, not of the place itself. Church located in the lower part of Leganiel (Cuenca), under the invocation of Our Lady of the Assumption, although in the 19th century it was dedicated to San Antolín. It has a Romanesque floor plan with a Gothic roof; the square tower houses, at ground level, a large Romanesque baptismal font. It preserves valuable carved images and an entrance door to the main nave from the convent of Saint Francis in Huete. Also notable is the altar of the Most Holy Christ of the Light, recently restored, and a partly gilt silver chalice-monstrance, now kept in the Diocesan Museum of Cuenca.
