The hunting privilege of Alfonso IX

Alfonso VIII granted the place to the Order of Calatrava in 1183 and Alfonso IX singled out its importance for hunting because of the number and quality of its hunting grounds. In 1463 Enrique IV granted it independence from Piedrabuena.
