The Iglesia de San Ildefonso (Church of San Ildefonso), the main religious building of Brazatortas, is already described in the Diccionario de Madoz of 1846: at that time the village had 200 houses with no other building than this church, dedicated to San Ildefonso and attached to the parish of Puertollano until the municipality was established.
