Palaeolithic Site of Puente Mercedes

Nature · Mestanza, Sierra Morena, Ciudad Real

Image of Mestanza, not of the place itself.

A site next to the outlying village of El Hoyo where Acheulean and Mousterian stone tool industries have been documented, evidence of Palaeolithic settlement in the valley.
