Every first Saturday of May, the residents of Los Cortijos go to the hermitage located one kilometre from the village to celebrate this pilgrimage. The festival has been held for more than fifteen years and is one of the best-attended of the whole year in the town, a day to head out into the countryside and enjoy the landscapes of the district.
