Junta de los Ríos Nature · El Robledo, Montes de Ciudad Real, Ciudad Real Image of El Robledo, not of the place itself. The Junta de los Ríos, in El Robledo (Montes de Ciudad Real), is the site where the Alcobilla and Bullaque rivers meet, and has long been a recreational destination for local residents in spring and summer. Its riverside woods bring together groves of Lombardy poplar together with elms, brambles and hawthorns, alongside willows and rushes near the bank, as well as areas of degraded pasture with white broom; water lilies and aquatic plants grow in its waters. The wildlife includes grey herons, little egrets and kingfishers, and the presence of the common otter is a sign of the good quality of the water. It is reached by the path that leaves the village itself running alongside the river, or from the hamlet of Las Islas, about 2 kilometres away.
