The holm oak groves of Puebla del Príncipe Nature · Puebla del Príncipe, Campo de Montiel, Ciudad Real Image of Puebla del Príncipe, not of the place itself. The municipality of Puebla del Príncipe, at 940 metres above sea level on the slopes of the Sierra Morena (Campo de Montiel, Ciudad Real), extends amid holm oak woods and scrubland, with an abundance of holm oak firewood, rosemary, rockrose and pine. It has springs such as that of La Zarza, which serves as a watering point for livestock, and is a traditional small-game area, abundant in partridges and rabbits.
