Shrine of Nuestra Señora de los Santos Monument · Pozuelo de Calatrava, Campo de Calatrava, Ciudad Real Image of Pozuelo de Calatrava, not of the place itself. Sanctuary built at the end of the 15th century and the beginning of the 16th, with a notable Mudejar coffered ceiling, located fourteen kilometres from the village on a hill that housed a small fortress during the Reconquista. It holds a Baroque altarpiece with Solomonic columns. The main pilgrimage is held on the first weekend of September, and another on the first Sunday of May, commemorating the Virgin freeing the village from a cholera epidemic in 1884.
