Los Pozuelos de Calatrava, in the Campo de Calatrava (Ciudad Real), celebrates the traditional Cruz de Mayo on the last weekend of April, set up in the church square. During the festivity groups perform jotas, the chocolate cakes typical of the day are handed out and, on the eve of May, the Mayos are sung to the Virgin Mary. The programme is rounded off with a flamenco fashion parade in which residents wear faralaes dresses.
