Tower of Haches Monument · Bogarra, Sierra del Segura, Albacete Image of Bogarra, not of the place itself. The Torre de Haches, of Andalusi date — specifically Almohad, according to the most recent studies —, is a watchtower that controlled settlement in the area around Haches, in the municipality of Bogarra (Albacete), and has been restored in recent years. It stands on the Los Cucos site, near the hamlet of Casas de Haches, recently proposed as a site with Iberian, Roman and Almohad occupation. At its foot the Esfinge de Haches was found by chance, an Iberian sculpture in high relief dated to between the late 6th century BC and the early 5th century BC, held since 1947 at the Museo Arqueológico de Albacete.
