Legorburo Building Monument · Albacete, Llanos de Albacete, Albacete Located on Calle Tesifonte Gallego, on the corner with Calle Mayor, in the heart of Albacete, this rationalist and cubist building was designed in 1935 by the architects Baldomero Pérez Villena and José Luis García Pellicer, during a period of urban growth in the city. Its semi-elliptical tower and horizontal fluting, influenced by New York skyscrapers and German expressionism, make it the foremost example of rationalism and cubism in Castilla-La Mancha. It is part of the Iberian Docomomo Register as a reference of the modern movement in the region. Photo: JPOK (CC BY-SA 4.0) What to see and do in Albacete
