The festivities of San Jorge are the patron saint festival of Golosalvo and the main annual date for this small town in La Manchuela, held on 23 April in honour of the martyr soldier George, also patron saint of Aragon, Catalonia and other Spanish towns such as Cáceres or Alcoy. Golosalvo preserves a sculpture dedicated to its patron saint, the work of the sculptor Francisco Salzillo.
