Church of San Dionisio Areopagita Monument · Fuente-Álamo, Campos de Hellín, Albacete Image of Fuente-Álamo, not of the place itself. Parish church of Fuente-Álamo (Albacete) built in the 18th century in neoclassical style to plans by the architect Lorenzo Alonso Franco, and consecrated in 1798. It is the main monument of the municipality. It has a single nave covered by a barrel vault, recessed chapels between pilasters with Ionic capitals, and an over-semicircular apse closed by a dome, with a rectangular bell tower. The plain façade is adorned with angels holding the crosier, the palm, the book and the mitre of San Dionisio; the dome was painted in 1954 by Manuel Muñoz Barberán with an Assumption of Mary, and the apse wall retains two grisaille medallions depicting the Annunciation and the Visitation.
