La Graciosa, octava isla habitada

On 26 June 2018 the Spanish Senate formally recognized La Graciosa as "the eighth inhabited island" of the Canary archipelago, putting an end to its consideration as a mere islet, though without granting it the full administrative status of the other seven islands or that of a municipality independent from Teguise.
