Monumento al Campesino

Monument · San Bartolomé, Lanzarote, Las Palmas

Sculpture about 15 meters tall designed by César Manrique and built in 1968 by Jesús Soto with water tanks and recycled parts from fishing boats, in tribute to the effort of the Lanzarote farmer. It stands in Mozaga, at the island's geographic center, where the island's roads converge.
