Bárboles, at the confluence of the Ebro and Jalón valleys, holds the Peraman pilgrimage on the last Sunday of May and its patron saint festival for the Virgen del Rosario on the first Sunday of October. Of the medieval castle it retains a 14th-century arch, and its church of the Asunción has a 16th-century Baroque coffered ceiling.
