Valley of the Jalón

The Jalón crosses the municipal district and sustains a vega of huertas and fruit trees hemmed in between dry-farmed slopes and olive groves. On those hills grows the negral olive variety that gives its name to the best-known product of the municipality, and after the rains it is traditional to go out to gather snails.
