Since 1975 Botorrita has celebrated its main festivities in honour of San Agustín around 28 August, with an opening chupinazo rocket and the proclamation of the fiesta queens on the 25th; it also celebrates San Miguel on 8 May and the Virgen del Rosario, patroness of the village, in the first week of October.
