Conquest of Daroca by Alfonso I

After nearly four centuries under Andalusi rule, during which it was known as Calat-Darawca, the city was taken around 1120 by Alfonso I the Battler. The stronghold went on to articulate the Christian defence of the whole upper Jiloca valley.
