The parish church of Fortanete, in the sierra of the same name in the Maestrazgo (Teruel), is dedicated to Saint Mary under the invocation of the Purification. It was built in the late 17th century and is declared a Bien de Interés Cultural (Spain's highest level of heritage protection).
