Historic-Artistic Ensemble of Puertomingalvo Monument · Puertomingalvo, Gúdar-Javalambre, Teruel Image of Puertomingalvo, not of the place itself. Medieval town declared a historic-artistic site and of tourist interest, with walls and steep streets on the sierra de Gúdar; the entire urban centre is considered a monumental complex. It is presided over by the castle, documented since 1202 as Avingalbón and one of the best-preserved fortifications of the Maestrazgo, entered through the Portal Alto and Portalico gates. Within the precinct stands the parish church of the Assumption and San Blas, Baroque from the 18th century, next to the hermitages of San Bernabé and Santa Bárbara. Among the civil architecture, the Casa de la Villa stands out, from the 14th-15th centuries, with a masonry façade and wooden eaves, along with the Casa Lloreros and the Casa Alta, in Levantine Gothic style, and the former hospital of Santa María de Gracia, from the 15th century.
