Church of Josa Monument · Josa, Cuencas Mineras, Teruel Parish church of the Assumption, from the 18th century and with Mudejar influence despite its late chronology, of large dimensions: three naves with a dome and a three-tiered tower, two of them square and one octagonal. It already existed in 1349, the year in which the death of its parish priest from the Black Death is recorded. The present temple was rebuilt in the 18th century in Baroque style, completed in 1732, funded by the bishop of Lérida Gregorio Galindo Zabaldica, a native of Josa. Its dome (cimborio) and the sacristy ceiling, of Rococo influence, stand out. Photo: 19Tarrestnom65 (CC BY-SA 4.0) What to see and do in Josa
