Los Olmos Village · Los Olmos, Bajo Aragón, Teruel Los Olmos is a small municipality of Bajo Aragón, in the province of Teruel, situated at 868 metres above sea level among the foothills of the Teruel Iberian System, through which the Alchoza river flows on its way to the Guadalopillo. Its origin goes back to an Iberian settlement at Más del Hambre; after the 12th-century reconquest it fell under the rule of the Order of Calatrava, which must have owned a castle now without remains, until the village became independent in the 19th century. It preserves the parish church of El Salvador, from the 18th century, the hermitage of Santa Bárbara, from the 17th century, and the town hall, from the 16th century, with the arcades of the market hall. Its main festival, in honour of San Salvador, is held on 6 August. It has 111 inhabitants. Photo: Juan Emilio Prades Bel (CC BY 4.0) What to see and do in Los Olmos
