Feast of San Antón, on 17 January, in Ariño, a mining village where the Santa María shaft opened up coal mining in 1914, continued from 1940 by SAMCA (Sociedad Anónima Minera Catalano-Aragonesa). The municipality became Spain's second-largest lignite reserve and one of the largest in Europe; next to the old town the SAMCA neighbourhood grew up, and the village still has squares dedicated to Mining and to Coal.
