Barbastro celebrates its festivities of San Ramón del Monte, the city's patron saint, around 31 August, with the traditional lighting of bonfires in neighbourhoods such as Santa Bárbara, San Joaquín and El Ariño, and a pilgrimage to the hermitage of San Ramón carrying the saint's reliquary arm.
