Born around 1511 in Villanueva de Sigena, Miguel Servet described the pulmonary circulation of the blood in his work Christianismi Restitutio. His anti-Trinitarian theses earned him condemnation and the stake in Geneva in 1553. His birthplace was restored and can be visited.
