Church of Santa María

Monument · Villanova, La Ribagorza, Huesca

Romanesque church of the 12th century, of rectangular plan extended to a Latin cross in the 16th century. It preserves the semicircular apse decorated with blind arcading and lesenes, features of the Lombard Romanesque that reached the upper valley of the Ésera from the other side of the Pyrenees.
