Valley of Ansó Nature · Ansó, La Jacetania, Huesca The Valle de Ansó is a Pyrenean valley situated at the westernmost point of the Huesca Jacetania, formed by two villages, Ansó and Fago. It borders the Roncal valley, in Navarre, to the west, French Béarn to the north, Valle de Hecho to the east and the Canal de Berdún to the south; it covers 25,850 hectares and is included in the Parque Natural de los Valles Occidentales. Its resources are managed jointly between Fago, with a fifth share, and Ansó, with the remaining four fifths, through the Mancomunidad Forestal Ansó-Fago. Access is via Biniés; the valley widens at the village of Ansó, narrows at Zuriza and opens out again in the Zuriza valley to the north, divided into two small glacial valleys. The Veral river is its main axis. Photo: Gerard (CC BY-SA 2.0) What to see and do in Ansó
