Museum of el Traje de Ansó Monument · Ansó, La Jacetania, Huesca The Museum of the Ansó Costume was inaugurated in 2011, the same year in which the Festival of the Ansó Costume was declared a Fiesta de Interés Turístico Nacional (a festival of national tourist interest), and it occupies the former hermitage of Santa Bárbara, in Ansó (La Jacetania, Huesca). Before that date, the same building already housed a small parish museum that, since 1970, had displayed local ethnographic heritage during the festivals. The collection traces chronologically the stages and transitions of life in Ansó through its clothing: work and festive dress differentiated by sex, children's outfits for christening, confirmation and everyday use, wedding attire, and the dress of the confraternity and its mayordomos, besides traditional jewellery of the comarca.
