Church of Almudévar Monument · Almudévar, Hoya de Huesca, Huesca Image of Almudévar, not of the place itself. Church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, originally a Romanesque church dedicated to San Miguel and extended under its new dedication in 1757; with a basilican plan of three naves of equal height, although the central one is wider. Of the original Romanesque church only the portal of the south wall survives; it preserves an altarpiece begun in 1555 by the painter Juan Catalán and the sculptor Juan de Liceyre, in the style of the second Aragonese Renaissance.
