Remains of the Almohad wall of the former castle of Aznalfarache, declared a Bien de Interés Cultural under the Spanish Historical Heritage Law (Law 16/1985). The municipality, made independent by law of 15 July 1890, experienced strong industrial growth between 1850 and 1940 that multiplied its population; today it has 23,408 inhabitants (2025) in just 4.11 km², 4 km from Seville.
