Puente Nuevo de Ronda

It spans the nearly 100-metre gorge of the Tajo de Ronda over the Guadalevín river, linking the districts of La Ciudad and El Mercadillo. Construction began in 1759 and it was completed in May 1793, after 34 years of work in which several master builders took part until José Martín de Aldehuela finished the project.
