Castillo de Benadalid Monument · Benadalid, Serranía de Ronda, Málaga Fortress of Arab origin rebuilt in the 17th century by the Count of Feria, trapezoidal in plan with three cylindrical towers and its main entrance facing northwest. Like other Spanish castles, it enjoys the generic protection of the Decree of 22 April 1949 (later taken up by Law 16/1985), but no individual declaration as a Bien de Interés Cultural is on record. It is in ruins, and its precinct is currently used as the village cemetery. Reconstrucción: siglo XVII Photo: Brian Harrington Spier from Shanghai, China (CC BY-SA 2.0) What to see and do in Benadalid
