Ancient Ibero-Roman city that attained the rank of Roman municipium and the right to mint coinage under Vespasian; it preserves columbaria and a fourth- to fifth-century paleo-Christian tombstone. The site, declared a Bien de Interés Cultural in 2003, extends across the municipal terms of Bornos and Espera.
